Mile High City

Greg and I took a trip to Denver to visit the amazing Pagel family. This was the first trip that I really had the chance to see what Denver is really like. We went downtown to the mall where I was able to help a street magician perform. He picked me out of the crowd and told me I had to pound a nail into his head... Kinda scary...He actually ended up pounding it into his nose and I had to pull it out... (GROSS). Anyway, It was quite an experience.
After the mall we went to the capital building and stood on the mile high step. Then we went to eat at the best restaurant in Denver, White Fence Farm! We had a lot of fun looking at all of the animals and taking pictures!
It was a great weekend and I am so excited to spend more time in such a great city!

I AM ENGAGED!!

I am engaged to the most amazing man who makes me the most happy person in the world! He proposed to me while we were visiting his family in Denver. It was a 101 Dalmatians moment! We took the dog for a walk and when we got to the park the dog stopped, walked around us so the leash was around our legs, and he got down on one knee! At first I did not believe that it was happening so before "yes" came out the words "are you serious?" escaped my lips. After I said yes, we looked over at the playground and a couple fireworks went off!
So there you go! You know know the wonderful story of how Greg proposed to me!
I am very excited to start the next chapter in my life. There are definitely going to be challenges, but I cant wait to face them with the love of my life!

Love Day!

My Valentines Day was so much better that I expected. Greg bought flowers for a girl for the first time in his life. He also wrote me the most amazing poem I could ever ask for!

After class I cooked him breakfast which was delicious. My roommate Sam decorated the table and kitchen for me while Greg and I were in class. It was perfect.
A couple hours later there was a knock on my door and I got a rose from my dad.
Then last night was girls night! Greg had to work, so I had a valentines party with my roommates. We had dinner together, went to the temple, and then watched a chick flick!
All in all, I think it was a great Valentines and I am glad I got to spend it with all the people I wanted to!
Sam's amazing decorations!!

Our delicious french toast! It was so good!

When Chelsie and I are in charge...

(Pretending to be monkeys)

Last night we really wanted to do something more than just watch a movie. So Chelsie and I spent an hour or more trying to come up with a plan. We finally decided to take a trip to the Bean Museum on BYU campus because she had never been. We had a lot of fun doing imitations of the animals. At one point Chelsie and Sam were trying to be polar bears and the guy that worked at the museum was very entertained and kept smiling. After the museum we went to go find a secret spot that Chelsie's sister told her about. Well we succeeded. We found the secret cave! It was a lot of fun! I think Chelsie and I think of some good ideas!

The Girls of B-38

I have the best roommates! They are some of my best friends. I could not ask for 5 better girls to live with. We have such a fun time together no matter what we are doing. Our apartment is definitely full of laughter 90% of the time! It is just a fun environment and I am going to miss all of them when the semester is over and summer starts.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

This Christmas season has been a very fun one. I have enjoyed being around my family and spending time in my hometown of Panguitch. This year especially was fun because Greg came down to Panguitch for a couple days before going home to Denver. He got to experience small town life at its greatest (at least I think so). I gave him the 5 minute tour of the town, yes I think it literally took 5 minutes! When I was in Denver I definitely could not see everything in that short of a time (although I did enjoy what I was able to see!)
Since starting the break I have been able to go ice skating, have an amazing christmas eve and christmas, and enjoy some delicious homemade food!

Christmas Eve:
My favorite part was when we acted out the nativity scene. It is always fun to take part in the story. It was fun to have Greg with our family, and he made a very good donkey and King Herod! My other favorite part is when we drink our magic hot chocolate. It is a special chocolate that we have to make us tired so we can fall asleep faster. For some reason it always makes us all extremely sleepy so we are definitely ready for bed so Santa can come! All of the kids slept in the same room this year which was a lot of fun! As we were all getting ready for bed we heard Santa's sleigh bells, so we hurried and cuddled up with our blankets and went straight to sleep. Cameron was so excited that he immediately wanted to be asleep.

Christmas:
I love Christmas. The excitement and happiness that is around amazes me. It is the one time of year when most of the world is united in celebrating a marvelous event.
Christmas morning we all woke up and could not wait to see what Santa brought us! Cameron especially was trying to hurry everyone downstairs! We enjoyed opening presents and lounging around. This year was extremely special because we got to go to church and enjoy a great Christmas program that helped remind us what this time of year is really about! I am so grateful that my Savior was born so that I have the chance to remember him always and try my best to be like him!
