The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

This Christmas season has been a very fun one. I have enjoyed being around my family and spending time in my hometown of Panguitch. This year especially was fun because Greg came down to Panguitch for a couple days before going home to Denver. He got to experience small town life at its greatest (at least I think so). I gave him the 5 minute tour of the town, yes I think it literally took 5 minutes! When I was in Denver I definitely could not see everything in that short of a time (although I did enjoy what I was able to see!)
Since starting the break I have been able to go ice skating, have an amazing christmas eve and christmas, and enjoy some delicious homemade food!

The whole gang at the Ice Skating rink at Ruby's Inn

Christmas Eve:
My favorite part was when we acted out the nativity scene. It is always fun to take part in the story. It was fun to have Greg with our family, and he made a very good donkey and King Herod! My other favorite part is when we drink our magic hot chocolate. It is a special chocolate that we have to make us tired so we can fall asleep faster. For some reason it always makes us all extremely sleepy so we are definitely ready for bed so Santa can come! All of the kids slept in the same room this year which was a lot of fun! As we were all getting ready for bed we heard Santa's sleigh bells, so we hurried and cuddled up with our blankets and went straight to sleep. Cameron was so excited that he immediately wanted to be asleep.

The lovely actors and actresses!

Christmas:
I love Christmas. The excitement and happiness that is around amazes me. It is the one time of year when most of the world is united in celebrating a marvelous event.
Christmas morning we all woke up and could not wait to see what Santa brought us! Cameron especially was trying to hurry everyone downstairs! We enjoyed opening presents and lounging around. This year was extremely special because we got to go to church and enjoy a great Christmas program that helped remind us what this time of year is really about! I am so grateful that my Savior was born so that I have the chance to remember him always and try my best to be like him!

Christmastime is Here!

It is finally time for Christmas music all day long, looking at lights all around, and drinking hot chocolate on a cold night. I love Christmas!! The first thing my roommates and I did after we got back from Thanksgiving break was decorate our apartment. We have lights all around, a cute little 3 foot tree in the corner, three different nativity's, and stockings covering all the walls and our window!! We have even figured out how to have a fireplace! We hook up a computer to the TV and play a video of a fire burning! I think that is my favorite part. It reminds me of home when my mom and I have our nightly hot chocolate in front of the fire.

Another one of my favorite parts of christmas is going to Temple Square. My family goes for a weekend every year to see the lights and then go to Music and the Spoken Word on Sunday. Last weekend I had the chance to go with someone else special in my life! Greg and I went to the First Presidency Devotional and then looked at lights. It was freezing cold, but I enjoyed every moment. It is always nice to be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas. There are so many other ideas of Christmas in the world, I think I get lost in the presents and shopping. Walking around temple square always reminds me that I need to be focusing on my savior and the miracle of his birth.

I love Christmas time! It brings such a great spirit. It is the one time of year when everyone can agree it is a special time. I am excited to spend time with my family and spread the Christmas cheer to everyone I come in contact with!!

Merry Christmas!

The Most Amazing Woman in the World

Lately I have been thinking a lot about my family and how much they mean to me. I have especially been thinking about what an amazing mother I have! My mom is one of my closest best friends. I can call her at any moment and have an hour long conversation with her. She always seems to have the best advice for me no matter what I ask her about.
Some of my favorite memories of my mom are:

1. Making cards and scrap-booking whenever we get the chance

2. Her and her two counselors in the stake YW sang "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" in front of all of the YM/YW (I was completely humiliated and embarrassed, I think I slouched down in my chair so that no one could see me)

3. Playing Wacky Six with my aunt Glennette, my sisters, my cousin Ashley, and I. (My mom and aunt totally cheated and shoved us around...Naughty naughty!)

4. MOST RECENTLY: Waiting in line last week on Black Friday to get into Shopko. My mom was getting into the whole thing. She planned out who was going to go get what and where we would meet up after we found it all. She almost sounded like a coach giving a pep talk to his team! It was pretty awesome!

5. When we were little and living in Brigham City she told me and my sisters that we were going to go to a movie with my Dad. We all got in the car and drove around for a little while and then my dad took us back to our house and told us we were at the movie theater. We were very confused, but when we walked through the front door my mom had set up her own concessions stand on our kitchen table. We each got some candy and a box of cracker jacks (what little kid would not be excited about that? There are prize inside... although the prizes were much cooler then). It was a lot of fun! My mom is very creative!!!

Those are just a few of my favorite!

I love my mother! I am so grateful that she raised me to be who I am today, and set a great example for me to follow.

Where Did Time Go?

Where did the year 2011 go? I can't believe that Halloween is over. I am definitely not ready for the cold. I am wondering what happened to the warm weather and and being able to wear shorts and cute dresses. I have never been a fan of the cold, but I am going to try to do my best to enjoy it while it is here.

There are only two months left in the semester. Time flies so fast. Before I know it finals week, Christmas, and 2012 are going to be here!

I have been thinking a lot about my life lately and how it is so different than I would have guessed it would be. There have been a lot of ups and downs the past month. I go from being extremely happy to sad to stressed to scared back to happy. For some reason life just seems to want to throw a million things at me at once. I feel like an emotional wreck most of the time.

Even though I have had things happen the past little while to bring me down, there have definitely been some amazing moments too! That is what keeps me going from day to day. It makes me so excited to see what exciting things are going to happen in my future! I am enjoying the journey!

Summer Adventures

Well I finally got on here for the first time in over a month and realized that I have not written about most of the things that I have done this summer. Since school is about to start in a couple of weeks I decided that I should write a quick summary on my favorite things I have done.

Manti Pageant

I had the opportunity to go to the Manti Pageant with my ward. We all drove down there Friday afternoon, set up our tents and then headed over to the temple grounds to get seats. I have seen the pageant before when I was a lot younger so it was nice to be able to watch it from an older perspective. I loved watching the prophet Joseph Smith's life portrayed right in front of me, as well as seeing major events from the Book of Mormon.

Balloon Festival

The day after the Manti Pageant Aubry and I drove home to Panguitch for the Balloon Festival. It is fun to go every year and watch all of the hot air balloons rise in the sky every morning. My favorite part though is the glow. On Saturday night they always line Main street with balloons. You can walk around and see them up close. Once it is dark it looks really pretty because when they put hot air into the balloon it makes it glow. It was nice to spend the weekend with the family and get away from Provo for a few days.

Abbey Road Show

Every 1st friday of the month here in Provo there is a free concert. They are on the roof of a parking garage. July's concert was the Abbey Road Show. A bunch of local artists were all put together and performed the Beatles album Abbey Road. It was so much fun. The last song they sang was "Hey Jude". Aubry, Kobie, and I pushed through the crowd and got right up next to the stage. We screamed the lyrics at the top of our lungs! It was definitely one of the funnest concerts I have ever been too.

4th of July

My 4th of July was spent hanging out with some of the best coworkers ever!!! All summer long Kobie, Merrill, and James have been my best friends! We have done a lot together. So naturally we partied hard on our day off. We went to the carnival in downtown Provo. That night we went up Rock Canyon and watched the fireworks from Stadium of Fire. The view was gorgeous. We could see the entire Utah valley. As we were waiting for the fireworks to start we looked over the valley to see how may other firework parties we could see. It was nice to sit and joke with each other. I am so glad I have such great friends to spend my time with.

Harry Potter 7 Midnight Premiere

Me and some girls from my ward!!
Hagrid, Rita Skeeter (me), Bellatrix, Hagrid, 3 headed Dog

Professor Trelawny and Rita Skeeter

Harry Potter has been a part of my life ever since I have been a little girl. I can remember reading the 1st book and immediately being sucked into the magical world. J.K. Rowling captured every kids dream to be magical in just the right way to captivate millions of people. The amazing thing is that not only were kids excited about it, but it appealed to all ages. This summer my childhood has officially come to an end. The 7th movie is out and of course I was standing right there in line ready for the midnight showing. The past 15 years have been great and I am so glad that I have been able to watch this amazing story progress and grow.

Camping Trip with the Fam

Katie and I ready to go 4-wheeling

My cousin Olivia, Katelyn, and I on our hike

One weekend this summer Aubry and I went home for the weekend so we could go camping with my family. I love to camp. It has always been my favorite way to get away from the world and just immerse myself in Mother Nature's beauties. I love taking our 4-wheeler out and driving on a trail until I cannot go any farther. I think my favorite part of camping though is just sitting around the fire. For some reason I love the relaxing feeling you get when you sit in your camping chair and stare into the flames. I love nature and being outside so when I am camping I am definitely in my element.

Cody's Wedding

My mom and I in front of the Mesa Temple

My little bro dancing with me at the reception

I caught the bouquet....

A couple weekends ago I had the change to drive down to Mesa, Arizona with my family and attend my cousin Cody's wedding. He was married to an amazing and beautiful girl! It was a lot of fun to see them together and meet Katie for the first time! I am so excited to have another amazing girl in our family! Look out family reunions!!! :) As I was going through the line to tell them congrats I started talking to Katie about how she was at school for three years and then she found Cody and how I have been at school for the same amount of time. She just smiled and said "You're next"! So when I got the bouquet she immediately smiled and said "I told you that you were next!"
It was just a lot of fun to be around my family. My little brother Christopher danced with me which was really fun! I taught him all he is going to need to know for the future! Yes we did get a little crazy, but isnt that the point?

Meteor Shower

Last Friday there was a meteor shower....well we were told there was going to be. We got a group of people together to go watch all the shooting stars. When we got up Provo Canyon and had been there for a couple of hours we had seen a total of about 10. Unfortunately it was a full moon that night and it was too bright to see any meteors. So instead of finding what we expected, we ended up just having a lot of fun talking to each other and wishing that all the planes in the sky were really shooting stars!!

Well there you go....a shortened version of my summer!!! It has been an amazing couple of months and I could not have asked to spend it in a better place. Provo is amazing, and the people here are amazing! I am so blessed to live in such a place.

Rooftop Heaven!

Aubs and I hanging out at the Rooftop Concert

The first friday every month during the summer there is a free rooftop concert in downtown Provo. I had never been to one but I had heard that they were a lot of fun. We decided to get a group together and go. We got to watch some amazing artists. The main performer was Meaghan Smith. As soon as she started singing I immediately fell in love with her style. Mindy Gledhill opened for Meaghan. She is a local artist that sings on a lot of all of the EFY cd's. It was really fun to hear her music. She is a very cute and happy sounding singer! I definitely recommend both of them! All of us had a lot of fun enjoying the music and the summer night! Plus Aubry officially lives in Provo now!

It is nice to have my sister around. I had forgotten what it is like to see my family everyday. I didnt really realize how much I missed it until she came. We have a lot of fun together. I think we have done pretty much everything together since she has moved up here. I know that everyone back in Panguitch misses her, but I am so happy that she is here with me.

I am so glad that it is summer! Bring on all the summer adventures!

The Beauty of Mother Nature!

I love being outdoors. It is definitely one of my favorite places. I love being away from the noises of the busy city and being in the quiet and calm outdoors. A couple weekends ago a group of us went down to Southern Utah to go hiking and camping at Zions National Park. We set up camp and as we were waiting for the other car of people to get there we spent time just sitting there. I had the opportunity to sit and think about life. As I was sitting in my camping chair I realized that I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I was away from my normal everyday stresses. I did not have to worry about anything. I was free from the world. Something about being in the middle of nowhere is very comforting to me. I feel comfortable and relaxed. I love sitting around a campfire and just staring into the flame while I contemplate life in my mind.

The world has so much to offer us, we just need to take the time to take a step back from our normal everyday busy lives to notice the beauty around us. We need to take time to sit down and think. We need those fun times with our friends to not worry about anything else other than having a good time.

So from the bottom of my heart...Thank you Mother Nature for providing that opportunity for me.

What a Night!

This is how I am spending my Saturday night. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do and I realized that all I wanted to do was curl up on my couch and watch a movie. So I have my favorite chips, salsa, queso, and Heath Ledger...What else could a girl want? (except maybe chocolate!!)

The Best Time of the Year!

I Love Summer!
Summer is my favorite season of the year. You do not have to walk around wearing a coat and wondering if you are going to freeze on your way to class. I love the way the sun feels on my skin. Summer is a time for excitement and adventure.

For some reason when it is sunny and beautiful outside I am so much happier. I like snow and how it looks when I am inside, but for some reason summer, green grass, swimming, bonfires, and hiking make my life happy. I am so excited for trips to the beach, Zion National Park, the Panguitch Balloon Festival, and so many more things this summer.

I love life!!! I could not be happier!!! Summer is finally here and it has made me one happy girl!!

Crock Pot Chicken

For dinner last night I really wanted to use my crock pot. I have had it for a while but I have only used it once or twice. So I got it out and decided to make something delicious. I ended up making BBQ chicken. It actually turned out pretty good. The only thing I would do different was the BBQ sauce. I just grabbed the kind that was sitting in my fridge and it was not really my favorite. The best part was that the chicken was so tender and just fell apart! I am definitely going to have to try this one again.

Food Time!

So I got a random urge today to make Alfredo Sauce. I have have never really liked the kind that you buy in a bottle at the grocery store. So for lunch today I decided to get in my cooking mode. To my surprise it actually did not turn out too bad. There are definitely some things I would change about the recipe that I used, but I can not wait to perfect it! My goal this summer is to be better about cooking. I need add to my cookbook.

I love to cook, I just feel like as a college student your life is all about trying to do things quickly so you have time to get everything you need to do done. So, since I am not taking classes this summer I am going to spend my free time cooking amazing food!

He is Risen!!

Today is Easter! I woke up this morning expecting it to be like any other Sunday (well other than the fact that today was my 1st Sunday in the Relief Society Presidency). Anyway, I honestly had forgot at first that it was Easter. I think in my mind I just had decided to treat it normally because this is the first Easter I have been away from my family. I did not want to think about it because I knew that it would make me sad. Then as I was getting ready for Relief Society I was looking at some talks and such online. I came across a Mormon Message about Easter. It was Elder Holland talking about Christ. He said "One of the great consolations of this Easter season is that because Jesus walked such a long, lonely path utterly alone, we do not have to do so." At that moment I realized that even though I was spending Easter by myself I had what I needed, my Older brother!

I continued in my search for Easter talks and such and I came across President Monson's talk last year titled "He is Risen". In his talk he discusses the Savior and the purpose of his atonement. As I listened to his talk while sitting on my bed I just started to cry. I started thinking about my own personal experiences with the Atonement and how grateful I truly am for a Savior who was willing to be risen again so that I can someday do the same.
I went through the rest of the day thinking about how much I have been blessed by the Atonement, and crying a lot during it!

I think my favorite part of the day was when I got back from ward prayer. I decided that I should check my email before going to bed and I saw an email from my Grandpa Parkin. He had open heart surgery about a month ago and has been in rehab since. He sent out an email to all of his family informing us that he was being released from the rehab center. In his email he said something that I really liked. He said,
"Today begins a new chapter in my life. After a week in intensive care and almost another four weeks in a recovery hospital, I am being released from the hospital TODAY to finally return to my home, where I can begin "A NEW". I think it is very significant that I’m being released to return home on Easter Sunday.Easter celebrates the most important and significant day in the history of the world. It is a day of rebirth; dead things come back to life and it celebrates that greatest of all events that provides, through the atonement and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we will all live again. He also made it possible that all who embrace and live his gospel may live in perfection with the Savior for eternity. I think this Easter will be a special day of rebirth for me as I begin my recovery back to health and as we all celebrate and give praise for the mission of the Savior and the actions taken by him on our behalf on this date so many years ago."
I am very grateful that I have a father in heaven who has heard my family's prayers.

The Easter that started out as what I thought was going to be my least favorite, has turned out to be my favorite! Even though I was not surrounded by family, I was surrounded with the Holy Ghost and my love of Christ and his Atonement.

Just Another One of those Moments

Have you ever had one of those moments when you just think "What just happened?" Well a couple of days ago I had one of them. I was sitting in a study room in the library by myself. I dropped something on the ground and went to go pick it up. The thing I did not realize at the time was that there was a chair next to me. So when I bent down I smacked my head on the chair. The rest of the day my head really hurt and I could feel a bump on my forehead. Of course I felt extremely dumb but at the same time I could not stop laughing at myself. I called my mom to tell her what had happened and the first thing she said while laughing was "Well, I hope it didn't cause any brain damage".
I am here to tell you that I do not think there was any permanent brain damage, just a very sore forehead and a memory that I can laugh at the rest of my life.

Children are Amazing!

I started thinking about my favorite thing from General Conference last week and my mind kept thinking of one moment. It was during the congregational hymn on Saturday Morning. The choir was singing I Know That My Savior Loves Me. Normally I usually see the songs as a little break to hurry and get my self re-situated before the next talk starts. This time though Cameron turned to my mom at the beginning of the song and said "Hey mom, I know this song". He immediately turned back to look at the tv and started singing along with the choir. I just sat there amazed as he was singing the words "I know that my savior lives and loves me". He sang them like he knew that it was true and that there was no doubt in his 5 year old mind that his savior really does love him.

He was such an example to me. It reminded me of my knowledge of my saviors love for me. We are all children of God and we should not be afraid to sing it to the world! I know that sometimes I get so involved in my everyday life that I often forget to take more than just a few minutes to remember him. I am grateful that I have such an amazing little brother to remind me of what is really important in my life.

No Boys Allowed...

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go up to Salt Lake with my amazing mother and sisters. We have been planning a girls weekend for a long time and it finally happened. It was really nice to get away from Provo and just spend the weekend with my favorite people ever! We started off the weekend in just the right way! We went to the Salt Lake Temple and did baptisms. I think we all really love that temple. It is so pretty.

After the temple we went straight over to The Melting Pot where we ordered some amazing fondues. We had a lot of fun trying all the different things to dip in the sauces. I think though that all four of us can agree that our favorite part of dinner was the people sitting at the table next to us. It was this lady and her two little girls who had to have been probably 7 and 5. They had a fondue where they cooked meat in a broth and then had sauces to dip it in. The thing was, they had lobster tail on their plate, which is something that not very many people have the privilege of eating a lot. Anyway these little girls were tossing it around like it was just normal food for them. Then out of no where the mom says in a very valley girl accent "No offense girls but I would much rather be in Vegas with Brittany Spears right now". What kind of mother says that? We were all amazed....and could not stop saying it the rest of the night.

After dinner we ran to the store to buy junk food (Girls night would not be complete without junk food) and then checked into our hotel room. We spent the rest of the night in the hot tub/pool and relaxing.

Saturday morning came much sooner than I expected. We got up and packed and headed back down to Provo. We met up with my Aunt Camille, Grandma, and Aubry's friend Jua for lunch at La Jolla Grove. Afterwards we headed to BYU campus to watch the Jane Austen play Persuasion. It was one of my favorite plays that I have ever seen. It kept you hooked the entire time.

All in all, it was an amazing weekend. I loved spending time with my sisters and mom! I cant wait for the next Girls Weekend!

Waiting for Persuasion to start

March Maddness!!

Basketball has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I loved watching John Stockton with my dad when I was little. So obviously when March Madness rolls around I get very excited. This year especially has been really fun for me (and a lot of people at BYU) to follow basketball. I am still amazed that we made it to the Sweet 16!! I can say that I have witnessed one of the most amazing years of BYU college basketball. I have been to every home game and lost my voice more than once. I love the feeling of your heart racing during an intense game.

After our game yesterday I couldnt help but keep thinking over and over how lucky I have been to watch such an amazing team play. They truly have made this semester amazing. The games always seemed to cheer me up no matter what. It has been so fun to watch them become such an amazing team.

I think my favorite memory from this season was our Flash Mob at the last home game. They sent out an email weeks ahead telling us that we were going to do it. They attached a video teaching us the dance, and then we would practice before the game (before anyone else except for the students were let in). When the time came to do the dance all of us were wondering if we could even pull it off, but it was a SUCCESS!!

I love basketball! I love my team! And I love my School!

GO COUGARS!!! Thanks for the great season!

They're HOME!!!

(Kirby, Me, and Aaron at Kirby's luncheon)

This past weekend I had the opportunity to be around some of the most amazing people ever! We were celebrating Elder Kirby Houston's homecoming from the Riverside, California mission! I got to see him for the first time in two years! I loved writing him letters and telling him everything that was going on with me in Provo (and of course I loved getting letters from him). There is just nothing like seeing a person for the first time in two years. I can not even explain how excited I was when I knocked on the Houston families door and knew I was going to see one of the most amazing friends I have ever had.

The best part was all the people that I got to see. (Of course this would be my favorite part because I am a very social person) It was a lot of fun to be around a bunch of old friends that I have not seen in a while. I got to be around some of the best people that I know. It was fun to sit around, talk, and joke with each other just like we use to do in high school. I love being able to pick up with someone right where you left off as if nothing ever came between you. I could not have asked for a better weekend and I cannot wait until I can be around all of them again!

How much effort?

The past couple of days I have been thinking about school and how much effort I put into my education. I have been thinking about this because of the devotional talk that Professor James Brau gave on campus this week. He talked a lot about getting the most that you possibly can out of your school work. As I have been thinking, I have come to the realization that yes I do enjoy my school work most of the time. I have classes that pertain to what I want to do with the rest of my life, which makes homework a little bit more bearable. On the other hand, I do not think I am taking everything I possibly could from my assignments and class. There is so much I can learn if I just put out the effort to try. I want to be able to learn all that I possibly can while I am here. I never thought that I took advantage of the fact that I am a BYU student, but today it all clicked. I really am very lucky to be here. I am sure that there are plenty of other people who did not get accepted who are harder workers than me. So I have made a goal. I am going to try my hardest to get the most out of my eduction that I can. I want to make my time here worth it and not just fly through school only doing the bare minimum it takes to graduate. I want to put forth the most effort I can!

Tests...Tests....Tests

Whoever thought of the idea that in order to make sure that your students actually learn you need to sit them down and give them questions that they have to answer. Even worse, why did they decide that these would determine what your grade in the class would be. Welcome to the world of test taking. Where you study forever and still don't get the good grade that you were hoping to get. Why this world exists....I have no clue. I think it exists to torture students to run around and worry about it all week. I wish there was another way to assess your learning so that you do not have to fry your brain.
On the other hand I love the feeling after you are done with a test. It always feels so good to have it finally done. Its like a huge weight that is lifted off of your back.

Formal Night

Last weekend had to have been one of the best weekends I have had this school year. To start off, Friday night the amazing men of the BYU 8th Ward told all of the girls to dress up in our formal dresses. They took us to a church in Orem. When we pulled up to the church immediately a group of boys walked up to our doors, opened them, and then escorted us inside to our places at our table. They served us dinner and Ty Trejo (fellow 8th warder last year) played the piano in the background as we ate! Afterward the boys danced with us as well as served us ice cream. To top the night off, right before we were about to leave they brought us each a tulip.
I truly am so grateful for the amazing men that are in my ward. I felt like a princess. Amber Pickering and I kept saying how amazed we were. We were treated like royalty and the boys were perfect gentlemen! Sometimes I wish that life was like that more often. I love dressing up, but when you put that with a formal night where the women do not have to cook I am the happiest person ever!

The boys outside our apartment waiting to drive all the girls!

What amazing service!

The Value of Life

Today has been an interesting day for me. I have just been realizing that even though you think that life is going to go a certain way, sometimes it doesn't always happen the way you plan. I know that sounds silly because it is something that I have been told over and over my entire life, but the light bulb finally went on! Life is about learning and taking experiences and moments and learning from them. No matter what the situation is, there is always something that can be learned from it. Even in the hardest times there is a lesson to be learned. No matter what the lesson is it is something that is important for you. Every relationship, death, or just small trial happens for a reason. So dont get down on life. It is all worth it. Even if it doesnt turn out how you expect it to, it might turn out even better.

I Love This Kid!

One of my best friends ever got surgery about a week and a half ago. It has been hard for me because he is trying to recover and that there is nothing that I can do because he is in Panguitch and I am here in Provo. The best I can do is talk to him everyday and make sure that he stays sane. :) I did see him last weekend and he kept seeing and saying extremely random things! It definitely kept me entertained!
The two of us have been friends ever since we were in 2nd and 3rd grade. Our moms are best friends which immediately made us friends. Honestly there have been so many times in my life when I have been having the worst day, and somehow I cheer up when I talk to him. We have definitely seen each other at our best and worst. There have been moments when I have really wanted to punch him in the face, especially for leaving me stranded in the middle of the mountains :) After everything is said and done though we have still stayed very close! He truly is an amazing person and I would not trade any of my memories with him for anything.

Blast from the Past

So today in my Music class I was reminded of an experience I had in high school. For everyone from Panguitch all I have to say is the word "fainting" and you will immediately know what I am talking about. No I did not faint in class but there was a girl that almost did. We were all standing in a circle doing an activity and she told our professor that she needed to sit down. She looked super pale, almost like a ghost. As I was watching her lie down on the ground I couldn't help but think if that is how pale I looked when I fainted. I can only imagine what everyone was thinking. I am glad though that I can now provide a way for people to look back and laugh! Every time I think about that experience all I can do is smile and laugh about how I was known as the "girl who fainted". :)

It is funny how random moments from your past seem to find their way back to you sometimes. No matter how much you try to forget...they just keep coming back. I guess the moral to learn today is Make Good Memories!!! Make sure that you live life so that when those random moments that remind you of what you have done in life, that you will not regret it!
